The client needed well mixed air, but had a temperature sensitive material near the exhaust.

The application was very cost sensitive, and integration of the blower venturi and heater mount features into a single stamping kept the product within budget.

 

Solutions and Their Impact

  • The heater nested into the impeller intake, applying heat exactly where it was required.
  • The nested configuration provides well mixed air and maximum efficiency and consistency.
  • An over-temperature device was configured to stop the blower in the event of a fault.
