The 200 Cool Touch™ is an open coil air heater designed with internal baffles that direct cooler incoming air down the inside of the outer tube. This keeps the heater's exterior cooler thus making it safer for machine operators and other machine components. The Cool Touch™ triple pass design is also more energy efficient. The baffled incoming air absorbs heat from the interior tube that might be lost to the area on a single pass design. Some customers have installed these heaters inside their control panels with the outlet fitting exiting the cabinet.

The robust construction of this 2 1/2' diameter stainless steel heater offers reliable, long life performance and reduced operational cost. The 200 Cool Touch™ incorporates a spiral wound element of the highest grade material providing quick heat up and cool down cycles with the maximum transfer of heat to your process. Farnam Process Control Panels are available to provide precise temperature regulation for your application. Standard power of 1000 watts to 12500 watts is available in 500 watt increments for a wide range of applications that include: Adhesive Activation, Sterilization, Plastic Curing, Air Drying, Web Drying, Metallization, Solder Removal, Textile Applications, Heat Shrinking, Heat Staking, Ink Drying, or Hopper Drying.

The 200 Cool Touch™ is capable of operating with air flows up to 100 SCFM and up to 120 PSIG. Maximum output temperature is 704 °C(1300 °F) depending on air flow. Optional equipment available include thermocouple and thermocouple fittings, stainless steel inlet and outlet fittings, and controls.
